Deep Sea Cruises
Deep sea cruises are offered by Sarie Marais and Isle of Capri. Both cruises are offered daily, the former operates from the Sarie Marais Jetty, the latter from Aliwal Street Jetty. Charter cruises are also available. 031 - 301 1953
Durban's Golden Mile
The Golden Mile joins Durban's warm Indian Ocean main beaches with upmarket hotels and restaurant. The Golden Mile includes paddling pools, the Funworld with its amusement rides, including bumper cars, roundabouts and slot machines. The cablecar ride along the beachfront gives a birds eye view of the paddling pools and beach area. 031 - 3329776

The Durban’s Sea World moved in 2004 to its new premises in the UShaka Island theme park, between the southern end of the Golden Mile and Durban Point. The new Sea World is the worlds 5th largest marine theme park in the world. It exhibits 12 000 animals, predominantly from the western Indian Ocean, with the largest collection of sharks in the Southern Hemisphere.
Umgeni River Bird Park
The Umgeni Bird Park, ranked among the top three in the world, is excellent value for all visitors to see. Numerous indigenous and exotic varieties can be viewed in their natural habitat, by way of walk in cages. Recently a free flight bird show was launched, which has met with great success amongst locals and tourists. The show is highly educational with lots of fun. 031 - 579 4600
